An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced MR Delivery Driver / Storeperson to join our friendly Cairns team.

If you enjoy being out on the road but don't want long-haul driving or work that regularly takes you away from home, this could be the role for you. You'll make local deliveries across the Cairns region, get to know our customers and spend part of your day supporting our warehouse team.

With permanent full-time employment, Monday-to-Friday hours and local deliveries, you'll be home each night and have your weekends free to enjoy everything that comes with living in Far North Queensland.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being active, working with people and having a bit of variety in their day.

You'll spend part of your day making local deliveries and providing friendly, professional service to our customers, while also supporting the team with day-to-day warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering orders safely and efficiently to customers throughout the Cairns region
• Building positive relationships with customers and providing friendly, professional service
• Operating a forklift to load and unload vehicles
• Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Assisting with receiving goods, stock control and general warehouse operations
• Processing orders and maintaining accurate records
• Contributing to a safe, tidy and well-organised workplace
   

ABOUT YOU:

We're looking for a reliable and motivated team member who enjoys driving, takes pride in providing great customer service and is happy to lend a hand in the warehouse when needed.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Current unrestricted MR licence
• Clear and recent Driver History Report
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to work across both driving and warehouse duties
• Ability to multitask and work proactively as part of a small team
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift Licence (LF) preferred, or willingness to obtain one
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to successfully complete a Police Check and pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
