Join Comsupply’s new Archerfield branch and help establish its Queensland presence. Working closely with the Queensland Branch Manager, you will build customer relationships, provide practical hardware solutions and contribute to branch operations from the beginning.

Comsupply has supplied architectural components, hardware and aluminium systems to the building, glazing and security industries since 1981. Powered by Capral Aluminium, this new branch brings that specialist knowledge to the Queensland market.

If you enjoy helping customers, preparing accurate quotations and keeping orders moving, this role offers variety across internal sales, estimating and customer service.

About the role

Working closely with the Queensland Branch Manager, you will prepare accurate quotations, guide product selection and help turn enquiries into orders.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and coordinate hardware quotations, including take-offs where experience allows.
• Advising on product compatibility, finishes and suitable alternatives.
• Confirming supplier pricing, availability and lead times.
• Following up quotations and building ongoing customer relationships.
• Supporting fabricators, glaziers, builders, installers and trade customers by phone, email and at the counter.
• Coordinating orders with suppliers and warehouse colleagues.
• Helping establish practical processes as the branch grows.

What you’ll bring

• Confidence interpreting drawings, specifications and hardware schedules.
• Accuracy when checking quantities, product details and pricing.
• Clear communication and a practical approach to solving customer enquiries.
• A proactive approach to following up quotes and securing orders.
• Confidence using Excel and quoting or sales systems.
• Commercial and residential hardware estimating experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.

Knowledge of brands such as Lockwood, Whitco, Yale, Austral or Allegion would be an advantage.

Applicants must also be prepared to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol test.
