You'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are despatched safely, accurately and on time, working closely with our warehouse team, transport providers, couriers and customers to keep our operations running smoothly. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Coordinate daily despatch activities to ensure customer deliveries are completed safely, accurately and on time.
- Create delivery manifests and coordinate truck loading activities.
- Book and coordinate courier and transport providers for customer deliveries and collections.
- Monitor freight movements and proactively follow up with transport providers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Assist customers collecting orders from site.
- Complete despatch administration and maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.
- Liaise with customers, transport providers and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery enquiries and provide updates.
- Support general warehouse operations as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Work in accordance with Capral's Safety First culture and all WHS policies and procedures.
ABOUT YOU We are seeking a motivated and organised professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You will also bring: - Previous experience in a warehouse, despatch, logistics or transport coordination role.
- Current LF Forklift Licence.
- Strong computer literacy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise competing tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- A strong customer service focus with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- A commitment to workplace safety, teamwork and reliability.
