About the Role:

Primarily this role is responsible to manage the Production and Maintenance stores. This role is also intended as a backup for the Scrap Coordinator/Senior Material Handler role.

Primary Responsibilities:

This position covers tasks such as:

• Daily stocktakes of site consumables and maintenance inventory
• Store management, including stock control and rotation
• Receiving goods, unloading trucks, and issuing materials to departments
• Liaising with suppliers regarding deliveries and expected timeframes

Backup duties may include:

• Scrap and materials coordination
• Inventory management using SAP
• Unloading raw materials and chemical containers
• Working with freight forwarders and booking transport

Due to the nature of the role, a current forklift licence is essential. Good communication skills along with SAP and MS Office experience is desired.

About You:

You will be a self-motivated person who enjoys working in a team environment. To be considered applicants MUST have:  

• recent similar work experience and stable employment history
• be computer literate
• have a good attitude towards Health & Safety
• hold a valid forklift (LF) licence
